WCF - Windows Communication Foundation
The Windows Communication Foundation (or WCF) is an application programming interface in the .NET Framework for building connected, service-oriented applications. WCF is designed in accordance with service oriented architecture principles to support distributed computing where services are consumed by consumers. This course introduces programmers to WCF (Winfdows Communication Foundation). Users will be able to create service operations that can be called from applications across the network. Toward the end of the course, we will see how to create a Silverlight application that calls theses services.
