Summary: In this video, we proceed with the second set of the Java certification exam.  We start with a simple question that tests our ability of knowing the construct of an if/else statement. As Java programmers, we know that there is no such thing as “or else”. Then, we move to correct method declarations in an interface. Methods in an interface are public, they cannot be static, and they need to return a value (this final case applies to any method). When working with TreeSets, we need to make sure that all the values added to the set are of the same type. We cannot mix and match types. To create an instance of the Java 6 Console class, we need to use java.io and Java.lang packages. When it comes to threads, we need to know how the methods notify() and wait() are being used and how they affect/not affect locking. Finally, we tackle a question about our famous try/catch/finally block.
