Title: Encapsulation: Exam questions tests - Sun Certified Java Programmer 310-065 - Lesson 59

Duration:  16 minutes.

Summary: In this video, we are continuing our list of 75 questions for the Java certification exam 310-065. We start with the Thread class. As I mentioned in the previous video, it is important that you spend some time browsing the API and getting to know this class and all its members. There are the thread priorities that you need to know, and some important facts about threads and how they operate. For example, when a thread invokes wait(), it releases its lock. And, if a class has synchronized code, multiple threads can still access the non-synchronized code. On a second note, some of the questions tests your ability to know the concepts of code encapsulation and the fact that good encapsulation helps promote loose coupling.

Methodology of the development of example: Good coding standard and simplified design to prepare for the Java programmer certification exam CX-310-065.

Technology Used: Java – Core Concepts

Keywords: Class, object, Thread, MIN_PRIORITY, MAX_PRIORITY, synchronized, encapsulation, coupling.
